Departmental Projects
Department has expertise in development of Interactive Multimedia Packages in Education. Hence it undertakes various projects in the same area.
Development of Interactive Multimedia Packages for CASP: |
Community Aid and Sponsorship Project (CASP), an International NGO working in the area of Education of the educationally and socially backward children had sponsored a Project on “Development of 30 Interactive Multimedia Packages in School Subjects” (2002-2004). The packages were developed in Mathematics, Science, History, Geography and English for standard V to VII. The packages were developed in Marathi. These 30 Packages are truly interactive and are widely used in Maharashtra. All these packages are validated for their effectiveness through the filed studies on the target groups. |

Development of Interactive Multimedia Packages for MKCL: |

Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Ltd. (MKCL), Pune has sponsored a Project of Development of 98 Interactive Multimedia Packages in Marathi for Standard I to IX. Presently department has developed 56 such packages for Std. I to VI. All these Packages are interactive and students enjoy studying through them. |
Development of Interactive Multimedia Package on Plastics for APPM: |
Department developed a Multimedia Package on “Plastics and Environment” for the Association of Plastics Manufacturers, Mumbai. The project was initiated by the Association for the school students (standard VI and VII) in order to make them aware of the proper use of Plastics. The Project had two parts: Part I was to develop the Package and Part II was to show the package to standard VI and VII students from various schools. The whole project was undertaken by Bombay Community Public Trust (BCPT), Mumbai and Department helped them in Part I. Yuva, another Organization took responsibility of reaching to the students with the Package. The Package is developed in 3 languages: Marathi, English and Hindi. |

Development of Learning Object (LO): |

Department developed 100 LO's in Science and Mathematics of Grade 10 of Maharshtra State Board. These LO's are based on more than 80% of the syllabus. |
