Abstract:
Interactivity is the ability of a new media program, web site, or multimedia presentation, to allow its user to control the content in some manner. A user can control content by selecting routes, paths, or links through the program so they experience the information as they choose. A user can control content by adding information through their participation.
Interactivity on a website is the ability to make the interface with a visitor an easy rather than a difficult process. It does not necessarily require a high tech approach to accomplish this- the site does not have to talk to users through their speakers- but it does not mean that visitors have to feel comfortable when they are there, whether it is to seek additional information, have a question answered.
Objectives of the research were:

To design concept maps for teaching TYBHSc students.

To study the effectiveness of concept maps for teaching TYBHSc students.

To determine the opinions of student regarding learning through concept maps.
The type of research carried out for this study was quantitative research. It consisted of collection of numerical data in order to explain, predict and/or control phenomena of interest. It was used to measure how many people feel or think in a particular way.
Research method selected was Experimental method. Under this method the pre-experimental design was used. In that single group pre test and post test design was selected. As the sample was students studying in the same class there was a possibility of threat of contamination of sample, thus the single group design.
