Abstract:
Portfolios help in learning and assessment. It is an open source to various audiences for learning and teaching techniques. e-Portfolio is the electronic version of portfolios. An e-Portfolio can be web based information management system that uses electronic media and services.The purpose of the study was to develop an evaluation tool that can be used to evaluate course e-Portfolios.

Objectives of the research were:

  • To develop an evaluation tool to evaluate course portfolio
  • To evaluate course portfolios using the evaluation tool developed by the researches

The researcher used survey method, which involved collection of information using developed tool. A Purposive sample of 7 graduate level online course e- portfolios was selected. The researcher found that most of the course e-portfolios incorporate many of the content materials needed for the documentation of the course portfolios. The main focus of the portfolios was the use of technology.
